John Henry Smith has British and Swiss citizenship and between 1980 and 2001 held senior management positions in international banks and other financial institutions, including the former International Securities Market Association. Currently he is a member of the board of directors of four Swiss investment corporations and has engaged in management consultancy.
As a financial intermediary, John is a member of PolyReg, one of Switzerland's Self-Regulatory Organisations.
In 2000 he gained an MBA from the Open University, U. K. and two years later was elected a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute, U.K. in recognition of his strong management track record.
From 2004 he has been conducting U.S. stock market research from which he developed the Grail model.
In 2009 John became Treasurer of the International Men's Club of Zug (IMCZ) that had then a membership of over 270. Each month he published articles in the IMCZNews, primary on the stock market, which generated so much interest that he formed the highly successful IMCZ Investment Forum with a growing membership of over 30 participants.
